Welcome to Pathway To Hope's Volunteer page. We appreciate you taking the time to check out all of the volunteer and upcoming training opportunities that we have for you.
Night At The Movies
This is one of two major fundraisers for PTH. This event is held in the fall every year. At this event we have dinner where short clips of movies are played throughout the dinner. During this event we have a silent auction and a live auction. We need about 20 volunteers for the evening to be a success.
Golf Tournament
This is one of two major fundraisers for PTH. This event is held in the Spring of each year and we usually need around 15 volunteers to pull this event off.
Survivor Walk-A-Thon
Every year our survivor group puts on a walk-a-thon at a local park. The event is structured as a fundraiser and an opportunity to build community. This event requires about 5 volunteers to help during the afternoon.
Survivor Garage Sale
This event is put on by our survivors every year and this year will be held in September. We need 3-5 volunteers that would help us sort and price the items as well as be there during the three days to help check people out and take the money.
Support Group Facilitators
PTH has two support groups that run from 7pm to 8:30pm every Thursday evening. We have one support for the survivors and one for the family members. We need people who are survivors or have had family members of survivors who can facilitate the groups
Office Help
Our office Manager Ann can use 2-3 volunteers that would be willing to help with office duties. These volunteers are critical to the operation of PTH. If you work in an office or enjoy helping with office duties please give us a call we need your help.
Event Volunteers
Throughout the year PTH is invited to an event where we can have a booth. We need people who are willing to take turns at a booth and tell others about PTH and our mission. If you are an outgoing personality and enjoy informing others how to get connected to their community, you could help us reach the community.
Blake House
This is a transitional house that PTH works with and they need people to help with various jobs around the house. If you are interested please contact Scott.
Child Care Workers
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help create a nursery during our support group meetings so that parents with small children can attend the meetings.
Trainers
Trainers for the facilitator classes and WHIM courses - We would like to offer some of these classes on a quarterly basis but we need more trainers in order to accomplish that goal.
Volunteers
Volunteers who will help with writing and sending cards to survivors and volunteers –We are developing a team to send out anniversary and birthday cards. Are you someone who loves to write and reach others through this type of ministry?
There are many opportunities for you to use your skills and talents within Pathway To Hope. Without dedicated volunteers we would be unable to reach out to the community and help those families and survivors with mental illness.
