I have good news to share about our plans for 2012!
As of mid-January Alan Purvis has agreed to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Pathway To Hope for 2012. Alan has supported this organization for the past two years as our Marketing Consultant, working with our branding, public relations, website, fundraising and updating ourprinted materials. Many of you know him well already.
Alan’s background is in marketing and business development. He has owned his own advertising agency and served most recently with Caterpillar dealers in Nevada, Missouri and Kansas in various marketing and operational capacities.
Alan has been a valuable asset to us since January of 2010. He will shift his focus and take onadditional operational responsibilities for Pathway To Hope that will be a big benefit in helping me to maximize my schedule as Executive Director in working with our survivors, their families and in various capacities in the community. Importantly, this will not require additional payroll overhead for the organization.
I am very happy that Alan has agreed to help us as we move into this important year in our ministry. He will have a limited regular schedule of office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays to deal with business matters and support those who have a need. I know that you will enjoy working with him as much as I do.
